The Bilik Siar Matematik at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, UPSI, is a specially designed interactive space that supports high-quality teaching, learning, and educational video recording. Several key facilities have been installed to ensure a safe, comfortable, and conducive environment for both instructors and students. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras have been installed to monitor the entry and exit of individuals into the room, ensuring the security of high-tech equipment and preventing any immoral or criminal activities. To enhance the audio quality during lessons and recordings, acoustic panels have been fitted to reduce external noise interference. The room is also equipped with a separate air-conditioning system, as the existing centralized system only operates during office hours. This independent system provides a quieter and more flexible cooling solution, especially for use after hours or on weekends. For security and controlled access, an electronic access door with a card system is implemented, allowing only authorized staff to enter the room. Additionally, the room is furnished with modern, ergonomic, and modular furniture to provide comfort and flexibility. This setup allows both formal and informal teaching and learning sessions to take place in a more relaxed and engaging classroom environment. The overall design and facilities of the room reflect the Faculty's commitment to delivering a modern, safe, and innovative learning space that supports the advancement of teaching professionalism and STEM education.
