The primary objective of ELSIM is to publish high-quality research articles that explore significant trends, challenges, and advancements in life sciences and mathematics education. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

- Innovations in teaching and learning within the fields of Biology, Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The Journal of Education in Life Sciences and Mathematics (ELSIM) was established through the vision and initiative of Dr. Mohamad Termizi Borhan, a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).
Following his proposal, the journal was formally approved by the UPSI Publication Committee during its 130th Meeting (No. 1/2025) on January 13, 2025. ELSIM stands as a dedicated platform for scholarly excellence, born from a commitment to advancing the landscape of science and mathematics education.
